It is used in conjunction with the throttle to provide a "kill switch" to keep the board from drifting off after you&';ve fallen off. How does it work? The way it works is you insert the black piece into it&';s insert on the throttle. Connect the wristband to your preferred wrist. Once the connector disconnects from the throttle, power to the board&';s propulsion system is terminated.
