SRAM Maven Bronze B1 Disc Brake Caliper Diffusion Black, Maven Bronze B1

What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I've run this caliper on long, rough descents, and it just stays consistent. The four 18mm pistons generate serious power, but it's predictable, not grabby. Heat management is excellent, so the brake feels the same at the bottom as it did at the top."When we're charging into steep terrain with speed to manage and traction to preserve, we need braking power that stays composed under pressure. The Maven Bronze B1 Disc Brake Caliper is built to deliver that control, giving us the confidence to brake later and carry speed where it counts. Its forged aluminum 4-piston body houses four 18mm pistons, tuned to work in harmony with the updated SwingLink architecture for balanced hydraulic ratio and consistent engagement. The stiff 4-bolt design manages heat efficiently, helping power remain steady through long descents and repeated braking zones. Designed for use with SRAM Mineral Oil and compatible across gravity, E-MTB, enduro, and trail applications, it offers adaptable tuning through rotor and pad selection. This is high-power braking engineered for riders who demand precision in the roughest terrain.
