The Salsa Journeyer Apex 1x 700c Bike is the perfect bike for the gravel rider, commuter, touring, and bikepacker. It has a 6061-T6 aluminum frame and a Waxwing carbon fork. The frame is optimized around 700x38mm tires but is able to run anywhere from 32mm to 50mm tires. The frame features internal cable routing, internal dropper post routing, flat-mount brakes, gravel geometry, and has room for a front rack, a rear rack, and a three-pack mount on each fork leg. The Apex 1x version of the Salsa Journeyer 700c Bike comes with a SRAM Apex 11-speed drivetrain. The gearing is perfect for climbing and long-distance riding. Tektro MD-C550 mechanical disc brakes provide reliable stopping power so you can descend under control. WTB ST i23 700c rims are paired with Teravail Washburn tires that provide traction on the gravel while still rolling smoothly on the pavement.
