The Rime Flat is an approach shoe designed for riders who spend time both on and off the bike. Built for those who ride and hike, hike and ride, or venture off trail, it delivers performance whether you're pedaling or walking.The shoe features Body Geometry technology with three key components: a Longitudinal Arch, Metatarsal Button, and Varus Wedge that work together to increase efficiency, optimize hip, knee, and foot alignment, and reduce injury risks. The upper is constructed with welded mesh and TPU that eliminates seams and is engineered for durability.For grip and connection to flat pedals, the shoe uses SlipNot(TM) ST rubber sole technology. The XPEL hydrophobic mesh construction reduces water absorption and dramatically improves drying time. Underfoot, a cushioned EVA foam midsole provides comfort and impact absorption, with a shank layer for additional impact absorption and stability.The shoe features a relaxed fit last that balances pedal feel with off-the-bike comfort, making it equally capable on technical terrain and hiking trails.
