The Chamonix 3 is an all-road, everyday helmet designed for riders who live a bike-first lifestyle. Featuring design elements pulled from Specialized's S-Works helmets, it combines high-performance comfort and ventilation in an accessible package. The helmet earns the highest 5-Star Virginia Tech(R) Helmet Rating and is suitable for road, gravel, or commuting adventures.The helmet features 4D Brow Cooling technology taken directly from the premium S-Works Evade 3 and S-Works Prevail 3 models. This system leaves a gap between the helmet and forehead, drawing airflow into internal air channels to keep you cool at all speeds.The Chamonix comes equipped with Mips Essential Core, a low-friction layer that allows a sliding motion of 10 to 15mm in all directions. Studies indicate that this reduces some of the rotational forces transmitted to the brain during angled impacts.The removable visor provides extra sun protection on bright days, but can be easily popped off for a seamless look when not needed.
