5DEV Shredville Flatbar XC Hood Mounts Black, 22.2mm Bar Diameter

The Shredville Flatbar XC Hood Mounts slide onto a standard MTB handlebar and add drop-bar-style hood access without breaking Leadville's ban on drop bars. Brake levers work from both the hood position and the standard grip, giving a second hand position exactly where 100 miles at altitude starts to wear on wrists and shoulders. For SRAM users, the hood blips can be reprogrammed to control a dropper post, turning a spare button into something worth reaching for mid-race. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I moved my hands to the hood position for the climbs where my wrists usually give out first, and the extra leverage on the brakes felt just as solid as my drop bar. That's not a small thing when you're racing the clock at 10,000 feet."
