The bolt vise facilitates the disassembly of an AR-15 bolt efficiently, ensuring no components are misplaced. Its primary function is to compress the ejector, allowing for the easy removal of the spring pin. This process enables controlled release of pressure on the ejector, preventing the ejector and spring from being inadvertently ejected from the workbench. Both the ejector and spring can be replaced if necessary and the bolt can be reassembled with ease. The tool securely cradles the bolt, holding it firmly in place while the screw assembly compresses the ejector. A designated hole in the vise permits the pin to drop freely. Additionally, the tool can be utilized to securely hold the bolt during the replacement of gas rings and the extractor.
