The Imperial features a sleek design with a unique Synchwire knitted TPU monofilament mesh upper, effectively reducing weight, while increasing airflow and comfort. The upper is even reinforced with a thermally bonded TPU skin for increased durability. The unidirectional forged carbon plate in the midsole was originally developed for motorsports and results in a 20Nm stiffer design than the previous Imperial for maximum power transfer. The Supernatural Fit System includes a footbed with adjustable arch support, using Low, Medium, and High arch support chips, for more comfort and improved efficiency, while a pair of two-way, micro-adjustable BOA(R) Li2 dials allow riders to fine-tune the fit to get the most from their ride.
